Nano-Engine consortium meeting at Karolinska Institutet

💡 Where are we now in our mission of paving the way for in situ CAR-T cell engineering?
Recently, the Nano-Engine consortium gathered in Stockholm for our third annual meeting, hosted by Karolinska Institutet.

🚀 Since our previous in-person meeting, we’ve made significant progress in
developing innovative synthetic vectors for engineering CAR-T cells directly
within the body. Highlights of our progress include:

✔️ A novel method for conjugating nanobodies onto the surface of lipid nanoparticles to enhance precision.
✔️ Cutting-edge methodology using Raman spectroscopy to characterize the produced targeted lipid nanoparticles.
✔️ A new and sophisticated method for retrieving the lipid nanoparticles from tissues, in the context of in vivo experiments.
✔️ Molecular docking studies investigating binding affinity and activation potential of nanobodies targeting key subunits of T-cell receptors
And:
✔️ Sharing the data that were just accepted for publication, including successful eradication of multiple myeloma in vivo

Curious to learn more? We’ll dive into each of these highlights in more detail in the upcoming weeks – stay tuned!
